Reiki for Stress

Updated: Nov 17, 2021

Stress is our body's response to emotional pressure. Many different situations or life events can cause emotional stress, which are often triggered when we experience something new, unexpected or that threatens our sense of Self, or when we feel we have little control over a situation.

When talking about emotions, it’s important to understand that they are in fact ENERGY IN MOTION. Everything is energy! From the thoughts you think, the words you say, the actions you take, to the foods you consume - all hold energetic vibrational frequencies.

Emotions that are not able to be fully acknowledged, understood or even truly felt cannot be processed. These unprocessed emotions then create emotional energetic blockages within you, that manifest in many different ways. A great many worries may, for example, remain denied and uninterpreted and manifest themselves as powerful directionless anxiety.

Furthermore, think of restlessness, anger, guilt, nail biting, binge eating, drinking, and all those other types of self soothing or sabotaging behaviours that we tend to do. All of which, come from energetic blockages due to unprocessed and unreleased emotions.

Remember, everything wants to manifest and everything is energy!

Therefore it's imperative and vitally important to incorporate regular ways of managing your stress into your life and to practice daily stress reduction techniques that facilitate emotional and mental wellness.

Reiki for Stress is an effective stress reduction technique. In fact, reiki for stress is one of the best ways to mentally and physically relax, while keeping yourself feeling grounded.

For those that don’t know, to sum up in short, Reiki is an ancient Japanese technique, which is quickly growing and becoming more mainstream across the globe. It uses a non-invasive, energy- based approach for relaxation and healing. Reiki technique uses a variety of hands on positions and helps to stimulate the body’s natural ability to heal itself on all levels—physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.

When practiced, Reiki for stress is an extraordinary method of healing. It helps to increase one's energy levels in the body, restore balance, and promotes health and well-being. In addition to its calming effects, reiki also helps reduce symptoms of anxiety, digestive disorders, insomnia, and chronic stress.

As one receives reiki they naturally begin to relax the mind and body, as Source Universal energy penetrates into all the cells of the body through the primary energetic chakras centres.

Reiki as a relaxation technique when learned is also a powerful way to help one meditate to deeper consciousness. In fact, Reiki is a popular technique to use as a daily meditation and self care practice.

Reiki is rapidly becoming a widely recognized and accepted form of healing. The hospital community has even begun to recognize its benefits and as a result more research is being conducted to determine the full extent of Reiki for stress and anxiety. Past research indicated that patients who received five sessions or more showed tremendous and significantly reduced levels of stress, anxiety, and depression.

Reiki has personally helped heal myself in profound ways, so much so that I now dedicate my life to teaching it to others and helping others heal using reiki energy healing. Feel free to read some testimonies of the women I've worked with here.
